OUR_PATIENTS

I have been a patient since 1999. The reason I have been with Dr. Toshok so long is that he helps me with my chronic pain complaints. Without him, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my grandchildren or go on my yearly Disney Vacations. I previously was not able to enjoy and participate in these activities.

Our patients are adults suffering from pain.  The cause can stem from a simple accident at home or on the job, a failed surgery, or sports-related injury.  Sometimes we don’t even know how and when the pain began, but getting to a solution and managing the pain is our goal.  We develop individualized treatment programs based on the cause and severity.  We can manage a patient’s pain with coordination with other medial doctors, as in the case of cancer, for example.

Your comfort is our goal.

Our Patients are not limited to:

  • Workers Compensation Patients
  • Patients with Short and Long-Term Pain
  • Athletes/Sports Injuries

Workers Compensation Patients

PainMed P.C. is recognized as a legitimate provider of medical evaluations for Workers’ Compensation claims. We understand how to properly document your case and how to gather the required medical evidence. We will give you an honest assessment — and we will treat you with respect throughout the process.

Most common injuries on the job include:

  • Overexertion
  • Slip or Fall
  • Repetitive Motion
  • Automotive Accidents (i.e. Whiplash)

Patients with Short and Long-Term Pain

Chronic pain is defined as pain that is still present after three months despite various treatments.  It can be both physically and psychologically stressful.  Day-to-day life can also be stressful and a battle.  Recognizing and assessing pain is essential to the proper treatment.

At PainMed P.C., our patients are not limited to the following pains, but are more often recognized with:

  • Burning Pain
  • Acute & Chronic Pain
  • Reoccurring Pain
  • Surgical Pain

Athletes/Sports Injuries

Every year, more than 7 million sports- and recreational-related injuries occur.  Accidents, poor training practices, lack of the proper protective gear, being out of shape and skipping warm-up and stretches all can lead to injuries.

The most common sports injuries are:

• Sprains and strains
• Knee injuries
• Swollen muscles
• Achilles tendon injuries
• Fractures and dislocations
